You can, but be sure to give something to drink or milk because of Motrin can cause gastric distress and bleeding if given on an clear stomach.
call ask a nurse. they are undo 24 hours. they are better equiped to answer. i would think a partly a tablespoon is too much maybe a teaspoon since you want to mix meds.
