I am having to come out of pocket over $400 for 1 physical psychiatric therapist appointment. I think it will be smaller amount if I just discharge the office upfront. Can I ask that they not run through my insurance company??Can you chose if you want to use your vigour insurance?
You absolutely can ask them to do so. Just be sure your primary Dr get the reports from them so it is all contained by your medical records or ask them to provide you beside a copy of the notes from respectively visit so you can distribute them to your Dr.
Some PT offices do afford you a price break if you pay bread and pay it 100% up front. But some of them are not describing you the full price with insurance as they are likely to accept the amount the insurance pays and your deductible and co-pays as full clearance for services rendered. Also, if you ever have to travel back will the price be one and the same again or will you have contented your deductible for the year and it will only cost you your co-payment subsequent time? Consider this too before you product a decision.
So, check near them first to see if there is a price break for change payment.
