Coughing and cereal to avoid?

Hi all, I've have a cough for about 1 week very soon and its slowly going away, but still there
What mode of cereals should I avoid consumption? I typically eat Cinnamon toast crunch, honey bunches of oats, froot loops, maple/syrup frostd mini wheats, apple jacks, and cocoa krispies, and oh yeah, golden crisp.
will drinking these cereals brand my cough worse? also do u recommend warm milk over cold milk? thank you.Coughing and cereal to avoid?
Are you dictum that the cold milk makes your cough worse? I suppose that can begin if the cold irritates your trachea or esophagus. Try it warm, can't hurt.
As for cereal, as a general rule, stick near ones that have 10 grams of sugar or smaller amount per serving and more than 5 grams of fiber and protein. Good ones are Special K, Cheerios, etc. (all of the ones you're not eating, lol)
If you're still coughing and your throat is sore, avoid whichever ones stay really crunchy, so you don't procure scratched up while swallowing. If you want warm milk/cereal, try some oatmeal near applesauce mixed in, or flavored malt-o-meal.
BTW, the cereal you've listed are really large in sugar, which can suppress the immune system and take home it harder to get better. Don't run too heavy on them.
