Can you if truth be told break your humerous bone (upper arm) and still function?
That depends on what you define as a "break". You can own a hairline fracture or crack, which many professionals surrounded by the medical field still consider a "break", and still know how to function with little or no headache.
Eventually, however, the area can swell or become bothersome, signaling that at hand could indeed be something wrong.
If you think at hand is a good accident that you "broke" a bone, it's best to seek medical attention as soon as possible so that, if you are injured, it doesn't get hold of worse.
I'm no docter thogh I suppose not many docters own been through what I hold. So I'll tell you yes you can still function and even use your arm.
Humeral fractures are enormously painful. I really can't remember a single tolerant who could use their arm with a fractured humerus.
remarkably painfully but yes
