most medications are well brought-up up to 2 years after their expiration date (they just slowly start to lose potency and strength as time go on and eventually won't work at all)
the further away from the expiration date you keep the tablets, the less strength it have. so if it's been over 4-5 months since the meds expired-they aren't going to work as capably and you should probably toss them.
I don't think any tablet is not dangerous to use after its expiry date. I think you should acquire new tablets after checking their expiry date.using tablets after expiry date may be venomous.
