about a month ago i be helpin my bf move and hurt my rotator cuff. than two weeks later i be reachin for somethin with the arm of the shoulder and hear a pop in my shoulder and some bones move, my shoulder feel better after that. a few days after that my shoulder flared up real discouraging it hurt so much i almost cried. i went to doc get shoulder immobilizer and cortizone but not into muscle. than today i moved my shoulder and again some bones moved in it and i be aware of way better. will it flare up again, why does this surface? Can someone give support to me please?
The cortisone was probably injected into the shoulder collective, not the muscle, to help near inflammation there.
It is complicated to diagnose with the information provided, but within may be more going on here than a strain to the cuff.
I suggest you have your MD dispatch you to physical therapy for a full evaluation. The PT will look at the ligaments and muscles around the shoulder, and will determine what structures are given up the ghost properly. They can apply treatments that will help bring care of your short-term anguish, and also likely help out you to get historic the problem. PTs are also typically quite accurate at recognizing when your problem is out of their nouns, and will tell you to see an orthopedic surgeon.
Go to APTA.org, click on "find a PT", and flush your home area. You may want a consultant who is board-certified in any orthopedic or sports PT (OCS or SCS after their name).
Good luck!
It probably will continue to flare up at times. You should see an orthopedic specialist and possibly enjoy an MRI done.
