Can a shadowy purple bruise be a sign of an internal injury/bleeding?

My Husband was hit contained by the torso, just above his hip bone, while sparing during a warring arts class. He now have a large, rectangular, poorly lit purple bruise there. My mom have seen an episode of imperative and Order where a man be hit in that broad area, without being seen the bruise, and died from internal bleeding. So my question is this: Could a night purple bruise be a sign of an internal injury or internal bleeding? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Can a shadowy purple bruise be a sign of an internal injury/bleeding?
a bruise can also of late be a place where someone get hit when he should have blocked. if your husband's abdominal nouns becomes distended, or he starts getting eccentric cramps, or starts developing a fever, or become nauseated, or starts passing blood, later you should be worried. until then relay him to watch those kick.
A bruise is actually an internal bleeding.
What matter is whether he ruptured a vessel. a vein or and artery. If it looks close to it is still spreading, accompanied beside drowsiness, unstable blood pressure and pulse, vomiting and confusion, go to a doctor a.s.a.p.
