Can music break your eardrums?
Yes, it's the reason roadies and rockers wear earplugs at concerts.
rap music breaks mine at any volume...
YES!
I wouldn't bid it break...here's what really happens.
Most citizens don't know it but music you can get a tolerance to also, that referring to the volume of your music. For example, voice when the first time you started listen to music when you were a kid, the volume is at 3 (max 15) and okay later on within your days you start to listen to more and more music. But here's the thing...most of the time when we quality like enjoy music...there's always situation noises, so we turn it up. You turn it up to volume 5 when you catch into jr high. Soon the noise get so doomed to failure around you, you just can't hear so you turn it up again.
Over time, your ear will build up this "tolerance" against the volume. What is immediately volume 10, you have trouble audible range so you turn it up again! Making your hearing worse and worse.
My suggestion is that any don't turn your music on too loud (if someone next to you can hear your music/lyrics...yes you hold turned it up way to loud!) or buy one of those disturbance canceling headphones, they aren't cheap, but sure let you listen to music without adjectives those noise surrounded by the background.
Hope that help
yes they can bust. i work at a hearing center, if you are going to listen to loud music atleast wear ear plugs. the cheap little foam ones usually wan are the easiest and the best. if you are a musician then dance to a hearing facility and own musicians ear plugs made for you. anything real loud kill your nerves, you will end up have to wear hearing aids if you dont do something to prevent the loss.
