Can I use more than one treatment for my eye infection?

My eye dr gave me a Rx, Blepamide, for my eye infection. It still hurts and presently I have a sty as powerfully. Can I use anything else in conjunction beside the RX drops? The Rx is not helping the pain, itching, or burning.Can I use more than one treatment for my eye infection?
