I believe it would work. Hypnosis can be used as a analgesic for dental surgery so it should be able to lend a hand someone with tinnitus. It may pocket a couple of visits to a hypnotherapist to find the suggestion to "stick" in your subconscious mind though. Depending on the shrink this could run you from $50-150 per visit. Still, I'd read out go for it. Hypnosis is without blemish safe so if it doesn't work afterwards you can try some sort of prescription from your doctor or other treatment.
Don't know, but how about trying antidepressants?
I have tinnitus, and still have it, but I don't identify it at all presently that I am being treated for an underlying depression that be probably actually the REAL problem.
i own tinnitus also, for many years, here is no cure, as far as hypnotist goes, first i enjoy ever heard of it, i reralized if i ate seriously of salty foods, my ears ring louder, so i cut way hindmost on salt, step to www.webmd.com
