Burning torment within subsidise of collar, hurts extremely when I move it?

I woke up this morning with massive misery in my collar! It hurts like a burn and worse when I move it.I tried to stretch it and I be in so much spasm. I have sore tonsils and a cough. Any suggestions? Think I merely slept on it funny?Burning torment within subsidise of collar, hurts extremely when I move it?
burning pain within neck and spine usually penny-pinching something is out of place and possibly pinching a bottle. try stretching it the best you can. facing forward at all times, stretch it as far as possible one means of access and then the other, slowly, don't force it. also don't verbs your neck resembling you're trying to look over your shoulder. and relax the best you can. also laying flat on the floor (or bed) beside a rolled up towel supporting your neck can assist. if the pain continues for days and doesn't attain any better a good chiropractor can probably fix you. as for the tonsils and cough, if you set off to run a fever or is it keep at it longer than a week, see a doctor.
Try this - try to touch your chin on your chest. Here's why... sore throat, tonsils and a cough can simply be a cold. But if there's a sore neck which is stiff and hurts "like" a burn, you could enjoy meningitis. It's not a huge threat if treated immediately but if vanished it can lead to some gross things I'd rather not mention because I don't want to terrify you.
It COULD always be that because of your sore throat you slep funny - especially if you knock yourself out with some medication but I'd be not dangerous rather than sorry. A friend have meningitis last year and happily caught it early. Just hold it checked out to be sure.. the symptoms are typical but it could be nothing more than a cold. Don't discount it - it's not worth it if you know the side-effects of meningitis.
